Graphics are great, Gameplay is solid and taken already from Spellforce 2, this is a tiny...tiny add-on to perhaps reboot the storyline. i'd suggest playing the other games and if you enjoy the series THEN get this game. but otherwise skip.

its good but a bit outdated on 2012-2013 standards.
if you dont mind that i think you should buy it.

personally i like spellforce 2 when it 1st cameout a couple of years ago ; so i bought this and tbh i couldnt play it as i was spoilt by todays shiny graphics standards and polishing.

am not in to the whole retro feel thing either, amazing graphics is very important to me; so that didnt help also

the graphics and interface are outdated, spellforce 2 is old.
But spellforce is also a very unique mix of strategy and RPG.

i dont know if you would like it, try playing a demo or something

SF Plat and SF2 Gold are great. FiD is...a let down.

I've never cared for MP for SF games.

SF2/FiD graphics are functional, but not jaw-dropping fantastic.

The base game is far too short and linear compared to SF2 and Dragonstorm. When I hit the end, I was sure I'd found a bug -- it couldn't be over -that- quickly -- but over it was.
