When Starting Game Which Version LPEC, DX9 or DX10

Whats the difference I have played the LPEX option and set the settings to max at the max resolution my 17" monitor can do and without bench test game runs fantastic, I tried it in DX10 and during the benchmark on max it played full graphics and I went to quit and it crashed but is there any difference my PC spec is below

GPU/Audio: HIS 7850 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E Card (Stock)

What's your GPU?

i played on DX10, and i have no issue. occational frame drops, but nothing to fuss over.

Listed above the HIS 7850 2GB PCI-E card with latest drivers it had full 60fps on the bench test but when I wanted to quit it it locked up

Update: I tried DX10 version on high for everything including DX10 options for what I could change and 5 mins in it locks up, I didn't notice any difference to be honest I'll try LPEC launcher instead

I've been using dx10 version. It's surprisingly demanding with everything turned up high! Probably a poorly coded port

I have an HIS 7870 and it locks up too on dx10 with everything on high, had no problems playing the demo on dx9 though...

Yeah the demo played fine on full with DX9 but not with DX10 the full game won't play still either but even with DX9 it looks great on full

Regarding performance, turning the effect resolution to "Low" seems to solve all problems, at least on my end. (see my latest thread for details) GL, guys.

On start up it gives option to play DX9 or DX10 also I see in Video options If you want DX10 for Shadow quality & Fur quality, not like fur on their jackets matter that much
