Games for Windows Live problem

This game refuses to launch since I cannot get GFW live running - since MS shut the service down. Is there a known work around?

I have the same problem trying to launch it ...it always minimize averytime I press a button where it says "create a new account"

I thought only the Colonies Edition used GFWL? I wanted to buy this too because of how cheap it is but I don't see anywhere I the store page that says it uses GFWL. Also GFWL hasn't fully shutdown yet (only its marketplace is closed down), that happens July 1st.

Yes, only Colonies Edition uses Games for Windows Live, and its still running. You can create new account on hotmail.com , then play the game (IF we`re talking about Colonies Edition). Maybe this will help ?
