I still think that these guys are enjoying the early money on vacations probably gonna drop that tavern by christmas, current work day must be around 2 hours x day.
You shouldn't be having vacations with your sales money from an EA game until you roll out the final version, or at least do it with turns while most keep working on the development.
Indeed sadly until steam changes how "ea" games works there is nothing to do after you pass the refund time and thats exactly why early games need other set of rules to grand refunds, they are not gonna go faster because there is still a cult of guys stuck in map 1 and praising the game because they were stuck for 500h
Im not nullifying the incompetence and slow development since I know is there specially after such a succesful launch, but I wouldnt called slowest developer ever specially if you know zomboid and bannerlord... heheh.
They still have a long way to catch those 2 and let's hope they finally add something other than languages this year...
It was no secret that the early access release of Survival mode was the main bit of content that was going to be available. The campaign, which is what they are working on is going to be released in its entirety on full release of the game.
This flat out is libel.
so yeah, they hit a snag with it.. and are taking a new approach.. it happens
probably is better for us that they are willing to admit something isn't going to work and re-think it. rather than just going with it, cause 'that was the plan'.
If you don't like that? Quite frankly it doesn't matter what you think.
The devs just can't win. They try to fix bugs? They are "patching to much"
Try to focus on the campaign? "Abandoned cash grab"
People not able to read dates or F.A.Q.? "Worst devs ever"
Mindless whiners just lying through their teeth to make the devs look bad for less than a 6 month early access project.
It's fine to criticize devs, but if your statements are just straight up lies then no one should even consider your opinion for a second.
No they havn't
They have been working on campaign. They have a slow development curve and only release polished content. (Lords of Xulima).
They 'rushed' this out knowing they would be working on campaign (the FOCUS of the core game) by popular demand. I'll be suprised if we get the campaign (part of it) before fall.
They havent release anything since the game was launch other than barrels and 1 unit.
Tavern is the only content "coming " with some "units" . Pretty vague and pointless if they gonna need 4-5 more months for another unit and building
No one complaints for bug fixing but even then pathfinding is still garbage , control is limited and even after all that , the campaign even if we could play it tomorrow is gonna be probably not the main focus of this type of "rts"...
Game need content fast and people need to chill out op wasnt lying , just exaggerated and a bit extremist for fanboys zealots...
Exaggerations are lies. It's the twisting of truth for the purpose of a biased argument. And of course if people don't just capitulate to the agenda of another person they are "fanboys".
