Help us translate Virtual SlotCars

Hi everyone,
VSC is now being enjoyed by people from all around the world, and many of the countries from where our players hail don't yet have their home language included in VSC. We want VSC to be 100% translated for everyone, and now we hope you can help.

So far, our small community has been extremely helpful in translating VSC and as a result we now cater to seven languages – English, Italian, Czech, Russian, Dutch, German and Finnish. But VSC is being played in over 34 countries.

So, for us reach our goal whereby all countries are catered to, we are asking for your help to translate our string-tables.

Where do you find the language file that requires translation?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Virtual SlotCars\data\language

How do you edit it?
Any simple word editor such as notepad or notepad ++

What part needs to be edited?

Example: <ADDITIONAL_WEIGHT>Additional weight</ADDITIONAL_WEIGHT>

The words “Additional weight” without the quotes, is the part that would be translated.

How many lines needed to be translated?

Currently it stands at 298 lines

How many words needed to be translated?

Currently it stands at 596 English words

Where do I send the translated *.language file?

We will be rewarding those that assist in the translations, more details on that in the coming weeks or months, depending on how long it takes to get it completed.

I have somebody who can translate to the Portuguese language.
But is it not better to translate it to the Brazilian-Portuguese language?

Hello,

I translated to Japanese anyway then saved it as UTF-8 with BOM and I know you included NotoSans-B.ttf and NotoSans-R.ttf which contain Japanese characters.

But If I choose Japanese in game option then everything went wrong It's called "Mojibake".
I couldn't see anything properly so I can't check anything I've done.

Probably currently this software couldn't handle doublebyte characters correctly?
