Nexus restarts the pc after the intro video on the first mission

i use xp, i've played it on this machine before and this is the first time i get this problem.
i reinstaled video drivers, direct x... but nothing. Anybody has any ideea why this happends?

I had the same problem. Try to turn off DirectX sound acceleration, it works for me :)
