It's good to see an old game

Man I haven't played this game in years. It's nice to see it again.

FUN FACT: It was orginally going to be titled "Imperium Galactica 3" but for some reason they cahnged it as well as changed the game play.

Does anybody know if they are making a sequel? I saw it somewhere on the forum here. I doubt it is, it's been so long.

They tried twice to crowd fund a sequel and it failed twice due to terrible advertising for it. I didnt find out about the first one until it ended and the second one was a straight failure. They could have tried harder like all the others and put out weekly videos or get an article on kotaku or something.

But I really want a sequel to this game, we have star citizen and elite dangerous coming out but I love the strategy of space games a bit more. Also Homeworld 2 is getting re released as an hd version, that should keep me entertained for a bit.

Homeworld 2 is ok i guess, i might get the HD version as long as they fix the AI and stop allowing it to cheat as much as it blatantly did.

I join you on this, this game is simply awesome, I still play it. Yes it have started as Imperium Galactica 3, I remember watching a trailer when it advertised the Matrox Parhelia graphics card - the game ran on a three monitor setup. So much good ideas can be found in the game, I keep looking for similar features in other games.
