Men of War: Assault Squad 2?
If DMS were to make another Men fo War game what features would you have them add/remove/improve?

You guys should make a Modern War (21st Century) game. One that allows users to use advanced technologies.

Reverberating sound, 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound support, proper skirmish mode.. otherwise, this game is pretty much flawless as it is.

More innovative features, easier establishment of defences
Steam integrated multiplayer support and friends system
Modern war would be awesome, but making it really work would be difficult
revamp direct control mode to make a little less clunky

Would like to see a cold war game in the same spirit as assault squad.

Nah, remember that todays weapons are a lot more accurate and fires at a higher rate then they did in WW2 meaning it would be like everyone was running around with a MG42, it would just become annoying as well as AT is so strong, accurate and long ranged that it would also be a joke, i mean javelin missile will take out anything etc.

WW2 is the best for RTS games sadly, since how limiting the technology at the time made combat more tactfull then the just completly overkill weapons we got today.

REPLAY MODE! no. 1 priority

nerf KV85/IS1 plz

Just kidding. Here are some real suggestions in no particular order:

-Really needs a UI update. In its current state it's pretty messy and unintuitive, and in such a micro-intense game like this your only option is to depend on hotkeys to be anywhere above average in quickness.
-Replay function would be a godsend.
-A few extra squad options would be nice, for instance changing formation of units in a squad. Or even a function to break a squad into equal pieces, since blobbing always leads to death. The same formation idea can be applied to armored squads too, which would help decrease the already hefty micro load a lot.
-Perhaps some buttons here and there that streamline a lot of what should be unnecessary micro, i.e. a command that has a unit take all relevant ammo from another unit/container's inventory with no spillover into other squadmates. Same could work for giving ammo, i.e. ammotruck to artillery piece.

AI is way too difficult to control every soldier.. why cant they pick up ammunition on their own or seek proper cover

I think to make MoW better there should be a basic level creator, It could be a quite simple thing like what was done in far-cry and a few other games that let creation into the game features.

When playing Coop/compstomp, i want the units I ordered. Do not split up the ordered units amongst the coop players.

-The game needs to be easier to understand. Maybe a few in depth training missions would be a good idea for new players to understand the mechanics.
-Update UI

This. I'd say also keep it in the same era, for the reasons posted here:

Also, DON'T JUST MAKE IT A RE-LABBELED VERSION OF THE FIRST GAME. This is one of the only problems I have with the series; there is little innovation. Sure, the game is very fun as it is, but we just need some new wotsits. I don't have any ideas, so I may just be full of hot air, but that's all I have to say. Oh, and improve the fully destructable enviroment. It's great as it is and I love it, so any improvements to it (more accurate building damage etc) would be fantastic.

second that, I spend half my time gifting stuff to my coop partner since a do low cost tactics (is suppose assigment is based on spent points)

I would be really cool if when taking direct control I would go into a first person mode.

tbh i think that the biggest thing to improve the game is to diversify the nations (beef up Japan while adding Italy, France for example) and make them all able to compete with the bigger nations. I mean, Japan was REALLY under powered and only really stands a chance against the UK. Beyond that, I think that improvements to the "flow" and UI of the game are sorely needed. When playing, the game gives off a sort of alpha or beta air instead of a fully polished product.
