If your coming from Company of Heroes and Company of Heroes 2, don't play this game. I'm not saying it's a bad game, I love this game, it's just that if your the type of person, like me, who likes charging in large masses and getting buzzed down by MG fire, you probably won't like it unless you like the whole moving from cover to cover idea. However, I found a way where you can still do that. Just throw some smoke if you have them and have your guys charge through it, but instead of having them suppressed like in CoH, your guys will get buzzed down unless you have a LOT of guys so you have plenty to fight and take resource points with. The basic premise of this game is whoever controls all the points on the map wins. There is no skirmishes like in CoH where you setup your own singleplayer match and destroy the enemy base, THERE IS NO BASE. This game relies on a reinforcement system where you call units from off map.In terms of campaign, the campaigns are called skirmishes, so don't get the two mixed up. And then multiplayer is where you fight other players for control of the map. This game is REALLY challenging. I mean, it took me almost 2 hours to beat the FIRST mission on EASY!!! It wasn't hard, it just took a LONG time to break through the japanese defense line. I would recommend this to anyone who likes RTS' that have good challenge.
200/10- would fight in Stalingrad again
