Which one out of three? - If any.
There are few topics about this matter. But i'm more concerned about the Multiplayer part.

I'm eager to take a look at this game. But which one is to go for?

Me and 3 of my friends like WW2 era RTS (duh) and we loved CoH 1 and 2. Except i started hating CoH 2. Reason? Men of War and it (close enough) realism.

But let's not rant about that.

Which one of the three would fit best to play with 4 friends against A.I or 2 vs 2. I don't think that era of Korean war is too far away.

What i had read from Finnish reviews. ToW 1 was ok/good. ToW 2 was buggy as hell and UI was hell (you couldn't drag and select groups, but had to klick each other and set them ctrl + number?) and ToW 3 looks bit dull with Korea vs Yankees only. But i'm not letting that to be too huge thing. Since Koreans get the hawt Russian tanks.

Well, you can drag and select in ToW2, that's for sure. And ToW3 contains a full-blown USSR faction, its just don't participate in the campaign.

Since you're interested mainly in multiplayer, please keep in mind that ToW has no traditional lobby which makes it a bit more difficult - you can connect to host via specifying direct IP (host must have external IP) or play via LAN option using Hamachi or similar service.

There could be only two sides in MP in ToW2 and later, while ToW1 supports up to 8 alliances, so you could set up 2 your friends playing against another one + AI and against another one + AI, any combination of human players and AIs is possible. But ToW1 is less advanced mechanics- and graphics wise.

Ah. I knew that i forgot something important.

Yeah. Me and my friends are used to Hamachi and IP/TCP connection playing. So i'm not worried about that.

I'll take my buddy and test out the ToW 3 and check it out. Thanks for informing about the multiplayer side.
