Game wont start ?

Ive downloaded this reecently and a box comes up on first time trying to run and then it just goes away and nothing happens ? the box says Installing microsoft VC Redist package step 1 of 1 Any help would be really helpfull

win8 right this game has a sad story attached to it i wont get into it search the forums alittle ull see but what u need is the team fusion mod the download links are posted in a couple of the discussions u wont have to look far ,its to bad this game could be great perhaps even greater then its previous, but alas the developers turned there head to the fans so the mod community did what they could to it and atleast with there patches it works...sumwhat u need a tip top of the line rig to set the settings to there maxx.

Thanks i heard about the 3.00 and the 3.01 and the 4.00 mods and yeh im on win 8 never had a single game problem this is the first time

hi lomacking---yep the very first thing to do is go to the atag site ---in the the team fusion section is all the info to patch up to tf 4.00 also other tips and tweaks ----people are running clod with windows 8 but the 8.1 version seems to cause probs---but there is a solution --also at the atag site --ps the game runs fine with a average cpu---the gpu and amount of memory are the most important for getting clod to run at it's best ---higher the better---see you in the skys

so the only mod i need is 4.00 ? And im posatively sure my computer will be able to run this game

hi lomac---you need to download the tf patches in the following order 3.00---3.01----4.00--at the ATAG site is a full tutorial for loading the patches---there is talk of having a uniformed patch in the future but for now you need to install the patches in the above order---ps post your specs here if you are not sure of the specs you need--------i'm in game at the mo [online]so i will check back when i get slotted which is pretty often with them yellow nosed ba&^£rds[109s] lol

hi lomacking---you might have a problem with the gpu---it might work in low settings but i don't think so sry --- i run a amd 6770hd passive overclocked and can run med/high settings 40/50[online] fps---i've never owned a intel card i don't know anybody that runs them in clod---but if you've bought the game you could try---check out what the guys at ATAG are running----good luck!

hi --you need to go to the atag site ---it has all the info for running the game---- patches working with windows 8,tweaks etc.


the vanilla and patched versions don't work together[the patched version runs better and has many more other improvements].once you play the patched version you don't ever want to play the vanilla version again!

Eu também comprei o jogo e não consigo jogar, aparece a mesma caixa sempre: a caixa diz a instalação do Microsoft pacote passo VC Redist 1 de 1, preciso de ajuda.........
