System not good enough?

Any time I start a game or even the tutorial my game crashes. My first guess is that my PC is not up to snuff. Here are my specs:

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ (2.44GHz) Clawhammer.
MSI MS-7093 Mainboard (ATi Xpress 200P Chip Set).
3 Gigs of PC3200 400MHz DDR SDRAM (512+512+1Gig+1Gig)..
XFX 9600GT PCIe 512 Megs DDR-3 Ram.
Onboard Realtek RTL8100C NIC.
Onboard Realtek ALC658C 6 Channel AC97 Sound.
One 160 Gig SATA Seagate Barracuda.
One 20 Gig IDE Maxtor.
One 80 Gig IDE Seagate Barracuda.
One 80 Gig IDE Maxtor.
Microsoft Windows XP Home w/SP3.

yes-- i'm afraid that your specs fall short---slightly better specs and there may have been a chance ---but even then it would not run very well ---go to the atag server and check out the system specs used by the players there. sry

xp wont run it due to direct x version and 32 bit version. go to win 7 64 bit. basically a new build is in order

LOL, OK I get it. From what I heard though, Windows 8 is also trash. Will look for one with Win7 I guess.

I think your PC is good with XP sp3! Have a another problem! This problem in all windows platform! Nobody know what is the problem! ( my english is terrible :D sorry )

im running intel i7-3770k@3.50hz, 16gb ram win 7 64bit with nivida gtx 550 g-card thanks to team fusion patches i can play this med to high settings with a little bit of stutter looking to upgrade tho
