Any great sound mods?

I don't have the game yet but from the videos I've seen the gun sounds sound rather weak and unrealistic. I found a video of a mod from over a year ago that is apparently unreleased: http://vimeo.com/58826952

It sounds really, really good. Is this mod released or is there any other sound mod out there for this game?

Well, there is only one mod that I would use and it`s the Team Fusion Mods. Do you already have installed them?

No, I don't have the game yet. Just doing some research right now. I looked into the Team Fusion mod but didn't see anything about new sounds.

Well, they are about to make new sounds for the engines. Weapon sounds have already be revised. You can watch Karayas Videos to get an impression of the squadron online-gameplay:

Once you get the game, get those TF-Mods. It gives you the game that Cliffs of Dover was supposed to be but the official devs could never deliver.

I promise, you are not doing anything wrong with Cliffs of Dover for those 10 Bucks (at least if you have windows 7 64 bit and the Team Fusion Mods).

Compared to the video I posted those weapon sounds are pretty bad. But anyway... I'll probably get the game soon and will definitely get the TF mods.

Is there really no sound mod arround? Cant find anything. JAFA sounds doesnt work with the new patches :( The weapon sounds are.....tooooo classy ;D

Engine sounds & effects are fine so far, yep. Not the GUN sounds :( Firing the guns destroy the immersion for me a bit.

well, search for a video where a browning .303 is fired... the actuall sounds are pretty close to that... the browning didn't do much of a "ratatat", rather a "brrrp".

I am pretty sure that those sounds are not from the actual plane. What's more is that this spitfire is one with hispano cannons(!), which is not available in the game. A totally different weapon than the browning-machineguns you have in the game.

Anyways, I don't believe there is a sound mod, but I think you should be able to create one relatively easily...?

Found here a very short original cut and after that some secs later actual sound of one browning in action.....check at 52:10. The hole "docu" is nice to watch: "Guy Martin Builds a Spitfire MK.1 Channel 4 FULL episode".
