What is the best dragon color?
Is there a difference in the late game?

Depends on class, difficulty and your gaming style.

As far as I know, all of them eventually learn the same abilities (of course, it also depends on what you choose each level up), so I don't have a personal preference. I'm currently playing (my fourth time through the game, I think) as Paladin with the brown one, and liking it a lot so far. I've played with purple, red, and yellow in the past. I think the differences are mostly early game rather than late game, but I personally don't use a lot of the dragon abilities aside from Crushing Blow and Dragon Dive anyway. If you're playing on a hard difficulty and money has the possibility of becoming an issue, Treasure Seeker is probably a good bet. If you're going to have a lot of archers and ranged attacks, Wall is a good choice. If you're a Mage and using a lot of mana, Mana Accelerator is probably a good bet. Your dragon will eventually learn all the abilities anyway, so it doesn't matter a whole lot in the long run.

(Also, this thread and your other thread pertain to Armored Princess rather than Crossworlds, so over there may be a better place to discuss this game)

Yes, all dragons has the same abilities. The difference is color and bonus. On Easy and Normal difficulties there's no difference in which one to chose, 'cause you won't feel it anyway - all of them are pretty much the same. But on Hard/Impossible additional 5 points of Mana/Rage can make your life a little easier on first two islands. Aside from that, best bonuses are: +1 Initiative to dragons and animals (Blue) and +2% to Crit (Yellow). Blue is good for those who likes to use dragons and/or animals, second one for those who wants to have as high Crit % as possible (up to 100%).

P.S. Basically, Crossworlds is a AP with additional stuff.

My preference is for yellow. The crit bonus is something that you'll never really outgrow.

I don't care about the color. Only its abilities if you mean by pet dragon. If your talking about dragons in your army most strongest. But I only like using humans in my army.

I tried yellow and red, which are nice. Red gives 5 rage and mana accelerator and yellow gives you the 2% crit hit chance and mystic egg. Yellow seems to be most suitable for the warrior and i have use it for that as well. Red (and also blue) is more for the mage. But currently i use the green one, which gives a +1 intellegence and treasure seeker. Meanwhile i have also given it the mana accelerator and stone wall. I use crushing blow, mana accelator and sometimes also the treasure seeker.

I love the green one. It gives me 1+ intelligens, and I can really use the extra cash it brings by having the treasure hunt ability as a starter.

I restarted recently, and have to agree. green for cash and the extra stat. I usually play war or paladin.

Green! Because of the treasure finding skill which lets me buy my army and my dragon is so fluffey!!! And because Reasons!

Ultimately, it's up to your personal playstyle to determine what is the best colour to start with.

I personally picked Green. Besides Green being my favorite colour, Green maximizes the use of Treasure Hunter, which may be vital depending on your game difficulty. +1 Intellect is good since I cast spells often -even as a Paladin.

Green. Easily green.

Treasure Seeker is NOT for gold gains, it's to accelerate the aquisition of the medals that increase EXP gain and to give free talent runes/wanderer scrolls. Gold gain is basically a pity chest.

Never underestimate getting abilities a level early.

How what now? I have a green dragon. Pls explain the medals.

There is a medal for Amelie unlocked based on the number of chest you looted.
If your army loot all the chests digged out by Baby Dragon, you get this gold medal earlier which give you EXP bonus.

If you get EXP bonus in early game, your hero will stronger than other play through.
