Flawless achievements
So after wasting a couple of hours I finally managed to beat 1-11 on Perfect. I thought this would reward me with the FLAWLESS.IMPETUS achievement because I already had a perfect on all previous levels. However, I did not receive the achievement. Do you also need to be perfect on all retro challenges to receive the achievement?

The crazy thing is knowing that somebody did it, as the percentages of the achievements are 0.8%...

ok, had the same desperate feeling right now. finished 1-11 on perfect mode after 3 days, and realized i nedd to perfect the bonus challenge as well to get the flawless achievement.

DeViLMan666_Qc, do you have to beat the level at perfect mode to get it? or i can finish it at normal mode with 100% of gold and later finish the bonus level, or does it need to be done at perfect mode?

(sorry for the lame english, not my first language :meatboy:)

I just completed 1-11 on perfect mode after two hours of despair - thinking the same thing too :( I can't even imagine completing a retro challenge on top of level 1-11. I believe it gets easier with practice and perseverance but who wants to waste so much time on it?

@bomdiavermes Normal and Perfect mode are the exact same difficulties. The only difference is on the Normal you don't have to collect all the golds - but to progress onto the retro challenges you need 100% gold regardless. So you might as way play it on Perfect mode.

I have the achievement for IMPETUS and TENACITY. Easy pickings on those two stages. Just wait until you reach TRIUMPH. (Literally, I need only one more level to PERFECT the game :( )

Don't give up!
Took me a few hours myself but it is more than possible.

Sad as I am to say it, but my "trick" was to destroy any trace of my nerves and go again and again until I become a muscle memory machine incapable of putting 1+1 together.
This is not the kind of stage that you can come back to later after a break and succeed... never in my life have I ever experienced such required precision with extremely low error margin.

Is muscle memory forcing literally the only strategy? Granted, it's how I got the Perfect Perfectionist achievement in Runner 2, but there's something just so unforgiving about RUNNER...I envy the MASTER.RUNNER achievement.

Yes, you don't have time to "think", it's like playing on instincts. All hardcore platformer / sidescrolling achievement require perfect muscle memory, often taking breaks does the opposite and "loosens" your muscles.

Trust me, there are far worse achievements than this one out there :)
