no idea. it just sorta died.

devs didn't make any effort to promote it or whatever.

It also hasn't been updated for nearly a year.

I think the only chance to get this game anywhere near huge again is to promote it. Not amongst players (although that never hurts, obviously) but amongst developers and major companies.

This game is super unique, and I bet if we mass-contact another developer it might get taken over.

just need to get a youtuber like pewdiepie to play it. then everyone 13 year old will start playing this again.

better unpopular and silently hidden than full of stupid kids

that's true. it'd probably still have a decent community with a little promotion.

A promotion won't help. First of all the developers switched to the dead island epidemic last year. They even shoot down the forums. The second thing is that the target audience is very small. People like to see their progress for any little effort, but the BLC won't give them such thing. You should try hard and go hard to get a progress. There isn't any small thing you can kill to get a satisfaction. And you should get into the game a bit, to be successfull vs another players. I mean, there isn't a way to dive into the game with first few matches. You should play at least every character to get the game. It requires a time. Average player don't want to spend that time just to get in the game. They will play like 2 or 3 matches and then leave.

A combination of devs catering to the LoL community and overall ♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers/routing is what personally drove me away from this otherwise excellent game. It had such potential...

The sad thing is that the community and fanbase of Bloodline Champions was rather charming actually. People cosplayed, sent in drawings daily to participate for the competition of becoming official ingame purchaseable avatars, etc.
The game was featured several times in conventions, such as Dreamhack and also won award for being Swedish best game of the year.

The developers just felt it wasn't enough. As understandable it was, I still don't feel it was all that fair that they'd abandon the game so suddenly, specially midway through a release of a new bloodline in the game, leaving it unsymmetrical and disappointing.

They do fond MOBA games overall, I remember how they recruited me and after that kept asking me to join the 3v3, as they usually were two. It was fun times.
I think the greatest motivation would be to remind them the memories of the game, without letting them get distracted of what drifted them away from the game.

Player base is declining by around 8% every month now :(
Hopefully someone ressurects this game type ^^

They Dropped this game for the Dead Island: Epidemic, Which was a mistake.

Played this game heavily back a year or so. It had such great potential, that it is a real shame it has not been put under careful improvement and promotion. The fast paced action was really charming, and quite addictive in a way I have not seen in many other games of its 'genre'! Besides the PvP part, which is obviously the core element, a PvE aspect in teams against quests and eventually boss-fights would really add another dimension to this, unfortunately, dying game! If they ever decide to give this game a real overhaul, I'd be one to return to it for sure!

That's a melodramatic way of dealing with the situation. "Welp, she won't say hi to me, I better live in celibacy."

Literally stumbled across it this morning after getting some examples from steam for a Free-to-Play discussion article and I have to say I have never heard of it before... Shame it was never promoted, because it looks pretty damn good. I'd actually consider playing it if there was a bigger player-base.
