These positive reviews, tho...
Multiple accounts with same 11-13 games and the only game played is Fall of Light with a positive review.

Yeah, sure. Should've spent more money on the actual game.

It's an asset flip with fake reviews, what do you think is going to be there?
I think you're jumping the gun. Just looking at the reviews on the store page I only see two that match what you're claiming, and those two are absolutely suspicious, but that doesn't necessarily mean the developer has something to do with it. There may be more but I haven't looked beyond the store page reviews. How many accounts are you claiming are involved other than just those two?

What gets under my skin is the number of people that are downvoting everybody's perfectly valid negative reviews. Those reviews are right and the same negative sentiments about the combat mechanics they're based on appear routinely in the positive reviews as well. It's sickening and people really need to grow up and accept that not everyone feels the same way, especially when their negative opinion is grounded in utterly indisuptable reality that even the developer(s) has acknowledged needs some changes.

I could go on.
The main bulk of positive reviews, except for very few that look legit, are these or private profiles.

Ah, another guy said the same, under the RPS article.
I'll quote my answer:

" About “fake” reviews this is a serious accusation, so please don’t tell again something like that because it’s totally false and not fair. As I said before, we have a very small budget and I assure you that also if we wanted (and we DONT’ WANTED), we can’t buy reviews. And, in your opinion, we we have bought also this article to RPS? Because it sounds to me like a sci-fi novel"

Please, really, stop with that. Check my profile: I'm active on Steam since more than 10 years and I never write a review.
Now. If tomorrow I'll write a review on an indie game... Is that suspicious? REALLY?

@ROFLwut?: about the downvote, I agree with you: everyone can have his own opinion, if he expose it in the right way.
Everytime I find a negative review with suggestions or critics, I try to replay and explain our position (I mean, what I can replay to review like "this is totally shiiiitttttt, ♥♥♥♥ the devs" ?).
90% of the time I agree with the review and I put something in our backlog.
10% I not agree BUT I respect the idea from all players.

--------------------------------------

I'm trying to creare a dialogue with EVERYONE here, hear all of your suggestions and take note. But I can't accept accusation like "you bought the reviews".

Nobody's talking about the number of reviews. Re-read the post.

Even if you're not responsible for those accounts, there's no denying that there's something fishy going on here and a deliberate attempt is being made by someone to skew the game's player rating. Just the accounts linked make up a significant number of the positive reviews and if the OP can go on to list more then that portion will only increase. If you're not responsible for it, then it's a good thing you know it's happening because what it tells us is that the game isn't being received as satisfactorily as the rating suggests.

In any case, whoever is responsible for those accounts, I'm confident that you intend to make the game right and aren't just out to rip people off.

It's the same for the similar games.
Did you note that there are also bestsellers like VAN HELSING II? So, in your opinion also they bought the fake reviews?

Yes, I saw that accounts. And we'll check with attentions them. BUT I assure you that no one here (not us, not the publisher) are linked in anyway with them.

And, of course, my job is develop games. I'm focused on this, not on have good reviews, take money and fly away XD

It's because of that, the accusation it hurts. That's all.
You don't get it, do you? Let me repeat myself.
The main portion of positive reviews for your asset flip is accounts that look almost identical to each other.

I understand. And, as I wrote in the previous post, we'll check it. BUT you accusation is wrong: nobody pay for the reviews.

Yeah, but it looks bad, like REALLY bad, and other developers have been banned from selling on the Steam store for doing this very thing.

It's probably not right to go all out and assert that you're the one doing it but people are going to be suspicious. There's something very wrong about all those accounts that goes way beyond mere coincidence.

I can agree with you. BUT, before accuse someone, someone that is always open to discuss everything like me i.e. :D, it's better, in my opinion, try to talk in a good way.
Or not?

Well, I guess we'll see what comes of it. Like I said, I'm confident that, in spite of anything else, you're trying to make a good game and you've been open enough about everything so far. But, you know, we live in an age where you can't even trust your closest family members.

Whoever is responsible for it, though, those reviews are skewing the player rating and that's bad for both future customers and the developer because it lulls both into a false sense of security.
