Reinstall the game is your only way out
When all else fails you can always try this.
Try to Verify Integrity of Game Cache. To do that, perform the following steps;
1. Go to the Steam Library
2. Regardless of what view you’re in, move your mouse cursor over the name of the game and click the right mouse button.
3. Move the cursor over the Properties label in the displayed menu and click the left mouse button.
4. Along the top of the panel you will see a series of tabs. Move the mouse cursor over the Local Files tab and then click the left mouse button.
5. On the displayed panel move your mouse cursor over Verify Integrity of Game Cache and click the left mouse button.
Respond to whatever prompts you get and then wait until Steam verifies the game files. If there are any missing or corrupted files Steam will automatically upload them to your computer.
Restart the game and see what happens.
here is your solution ; it worked for someone else with the same problem : Try this:
Go to device manager:
- Start Menu -> Run -> devmgmt.msc
- Under Display Adapters, right click your graphic card and uninstall it.
- Then click somewhere on the window.
- Action -> Scan for hardward changes
Then it would automatically reinstall your driver. I can finally play the buggy game. ;D ..
Good luck.
EDIT: After scanning, your Graphic Card will show up as Unknow VGA device with an exclamation mark. Right Click and install driver for it.
In the meanwhile, be sure to cut the Megadeth off your ears when you type ;) (I keed)
