any real sniper simulation game?
i have played this and also Snipe the Ghost Warrior. it is not realistic. bullets dont travel in the speed of light and not always straight forward. the major effects on a traveling bullet are the wind speed, the wind's direction, and the height of your location VS the distance of the target. i guess i will have to shoot a real sniper rifle.

There is one game that does that correctly and that is operation flashpoint: dragon rising

If I select ELITE - REALISITIC - NONE in the difficulty settings I mostly have to compensate my aim to hit the AI. The only straight shots I can make are from a short distance (within 25 yrds).
When I play in Multiplayer most servers I play in have wind and elevation enabled because making "one shot - one kills" with the crosshair dead on the target are most of the time impossible.
My longest shot in Multiplayer is 475 m in Quarry and it took me 2 clips to figure out how to aim, so... to me that's quite realistic.
Unrealistic would be if I would make that shot at that same distance over and over again, with any kind of rifle and with the crosshair right on the target. Then the bullet would be traveling at the speed of light, not being affected by wind or distance.
I haven't seen any game yet where you can adjust your scope for windage and elevation in order to get the crosshair dead on target at the required distance.

I like this one, all the things you mentionned here are actually in Sniper Elite V2.
the only thing is that there is no manual adjustment - you have to aim over the target and also compensate for the wind. On actual sniper rifles, you can set up and calculate on your own scope and rifle, mostly with a partner next to you, helping you to put that target in the cross, no matter the wind and drop (are already compensated by changing your optics, directly mounted on the scope itself).

EXACTLY !

So SoB, if you play and observe to learn carefully, you'll find that you have to aim in front of a running target. It is not Call of Duty, the bullet does not appear on your target - it is travelling space, taking all the aforementioned arguments you said IN the game !

SoB, check my videos. You'll see what I mean :)

By the way, SoB, you want a real sniper game. what was real in 1945 is diffrent than what is real today. Therefore, I believe this game is real. I'm not stating a fact, but who are you to judge the realism or now ; have you fought in WW2 ? Bet you don't.
go check Sniper Elite V2 official website, and you can see how the game has been made, and the realism they put to make this as much accordingly to reality as possible.

have you tryied ARMA mode, DayZ ( in case you are ok with a bunch of hungry zombies, and concept of modes in general ) , arma 2 is good-enough realistic simulation, and to learn how to shoot with sniper in that game is a bit of a challange, maybe give it a go

Here we go again...

I you want a real sniper simulation you don't use a mouse and keyboard or a gamepad. If you do use a mouse and keyboard, Sniper Elite V2 is pretty realistic on Elite difficulty. Enjoy it.

stock Arma2 has weapons with real (MILS) reticules (I've even seen videos with realistic engagements to the 1000yds), and even some stock missions with sniping tasks (nonetheless you may take the role of the sniper in your team); then there is http://www.armaholic.com/, where you may go for fan made missions, or create them yourself with the editor

in case you'd like the pureness (no combat environment) of sniping, this is an alternate "route" :-) http://www.shooterready.com/index.html

I shot many times with an "old" .22 long rifle (kinda like those in this game but worse) and i can say the game is realistic. Besides with bullets speed at 500m/s you can say it's like light speed for a 200 meter shot.
