sniper elite v2 just won't start

hello
i bought sniper elite v2 a week ago and still cant get it to start
i forced steam to update... didnt help
i deleted the game and dowloaded it again... didnt help

it always says sniper elite v2 is starting and then the small window disapears and nothing happens
when i do this 5 times it says error application running
can anybody help me?
