Controller menu + online

Hi guys, I have a PS2 joypad, do you know a way to make it work properly in game menu?
I've already mapped the pad for in game, but the menu is completely wrong...

Also, there is a way to play it online?

In game menu i use keyboard. Joy need only game

Yeah, I know I can use the keyboard, but it should work with the joypad..

I'm using a wired xbox controller, and I have throttle and break mapped to the trigger buttons - they function as up and down in the menus, "A" button mapped to handbrake, which is select in the menus (same as enter key) and "B" mapped to nitro, which is cancel in the menus. Left and right are just done with left/right steering. Should be able to set it up similar on your controller.
