How many hours of single player content does this game have?

Don't worry about that, difficulty increases the hours a lot :) especially if you want all gold medals!

Yes, but you have to consider its age and contextualization. It's a "good old game", released on 2004, so it's hardest than FlatOut 2, and you'll really have to dominate controls. So you just need a little bit of practice and patience. After that, that really become a very good one, that you will enjoy.

I belive you,though i have a choice between this and the first red faction game,which game should i choose?

Well, these two games are totally differents... depending of what kind of action you are looking for! Personnaly, I love FlatOut series and the first one, even if some persons find it frustrating compared to the second episode (the reasons are what I explained). There is no possible comparaison between the two games, but one difference is that with FlatOut, you can just launch the game, spend 5 minutes playing bonus games and laugh watching your driver fly and crash, then close the game, be happy and do another thing :)
