How do I activate split screen co-op?

I have a (wireless) Logitech F710 (with xinput) as my first controller and a (wired) Razer Onza as my second controller. They should both read as X360 controllers. But whenever I go to the co-op screen, and press X, nothing happens. The game still reads the 2nd controller just fine as I can scroll through menus and do whatever else just fine. What should I do?

Are you sure that you have activated controllers in the settings?

Yep, "controller" is "enabled". Both controllers function just fine on the menu screen, and the first controller controller works perfect in single player (second controller inputs have no effect during a single player game, which I'd take as a good sign). Second controller can be used to scroll through menus and alter settings, accept, back out, etc., and it works great with other local co-op games like Castle Crashers and Rayman Origins.

I mean, that's what I'm trying to do. I want to invite friends over and just hang out and drink and play video games.

I'm not sure why that would be happening, I'm no whiz with using controllers on the PC... kind of new to PC gaming in general.

But as a means of troubleshooting, have you tried switching the controllers in regards to which is first player and which is second player... and seeing if you have any success? Maybe the Razer Onza just doesn't like being in the second player position, or something wonky like that.

Or maybe (kind of a long shot) seeing on the official site if either of those controllers have updated drivers... if such a thing exists for PC controllers. Even if this isn't like a "known issue" to be fixed, reinstalling/updating their drivers could give them they kick they need.

If you want to play with controllers get a PS3- It has a decent controller
