Coop split screen problem

How do I get split screen to work? I can get it to work but keyboard and controller controll the same robot

It was a guide for turn to slot 2 your PS3 controller. So the mouse and keyboard plays as player 1 and the PS2 controller as player 2.
How I got there.

That's a bit hard here's the easiest way!

connect your controller to the pc.(since you only connected one controller it is set to player 1)
then, type in the dev console: joy_remap_player_for_controller1 2
(that will put the controller to player two and keyboard+mouse as player one)

Finished! Just Click co-op and when it asks to press x on controller two just press x since it is already set to Player 2.

Tell me if it works or if you have any problems doing so.

Yeah, it works! What I did was connect a PS3 controller and with DS3Tool program, I set it as Xbox Controller :) Thank you!

I have a XBox controller, too. But I have a mac and if I type the command the console answers that the command doesnt exist...

I would just get 2 controllers also it doesn't matter if they are differnet types so you can use ps4 duel shock, ps3, Xbox controller and I am pretty sure thats it.

I have 2 xbox controllers, but pressing x does absolutely nothing. Not even when entering joy_remap_player_for_controller1 2 in the console.
