Diffrent Black Screen

Every time i load up portal 2 is just a black screen from the valve niose to the first mission i can hear and non of my other games do this help please its dark and scary nothing but black :l

i'm having the same problem. I thought it was just the crappy TV i use as a monitor, but changing the "Launch" resolution did'nt fix it. T.T

its the pixels i got a desk top now and its fixed not cheap but got portal 2 so worth it

I HAS THE ANSWER!!!!! (p.s. you don't need to verify the integrity of the game)
1. Start Portal 2
2. Click options > Keyboard/controls > enable developers console > click enable
3. Start a single player game
4. Click this key ---> ` (this key is right below your ESC button)
5. and copy this code : mat_postprocess_enable 0
6. Enjoy portal 2
