Player 2 Controller - some essential functions not working.

I'm trying to play splitscreen co-op with a friend. We both have wired 360 controllers, obviously both plugged into the same PC. For some reason whichever controller is set to player 2 (it doesn't matter which) can only move and look around. No other buttons work (can't fire portals, jump, gesture, etc.) Any help would be appreciated.

You could try typing "exec 360controller" in the command console (sans quotes). It might work.

If it doesn't you may need to either go into the keybindings settings and set the functions there or go into the config files and set them manually.
