Subtitles in another language?
Hey I have a little problem, I would like to play Portal in English (I love Wheatleys voice *-*) but if possible I would like the Subtitles to be in German ... How do you do that. You cant change it in the game or in the settings ... Thank you for the hepl <3

Try typing "cc_lang german" into the console.

or go to settings in portal 2 and langue and set the into english the voices will be downloaded

That's what you do to have both voice and subtitles in that language. But he/she wanted the English voices with German subtitles. =)

Oh, you're right, I overlooked the Audio language option ingame. The only problem with setting Steam to German just to get the subtitles is that it'll "think" you want all your Games to be in German and attempt to download German voice files for all Games that have them available. You could try to turn off auto-updates before changing the language to prevent this.
