Trouble redeeming Portal 2 from PS3 to Steam
Ok I downloaded Portal 2 from psn and it said I could redeem it on steam but i cant find the redeem code since I got it from psn instead of buying the disk. Can you please help me because I really want to play portal on my pc. Thanks

im having the same problem if u go under portal 2 in the steam store it says i already own the game but when i click play now it brings me to the community of portal 2

Same problem here, I thought I'd dig the game up again, and play it on my PC, It gives me the 'play now' button too, but links to the community. Any solutions?

I bought the disk, so I can't help. Wish I could though. The disk had a code on paper in the box.

I know, but for some reason that paper dissapeared. I remember redeeming the game like a year ago, but since then I bought a new computer and the game is not in my list of owned games. I'm sure that if I buy a new copy, I can not install it and will give me the error that it is already in my library. Really they could make it so much easier to redeem this stuff...

No, I'm 200% sure about that :) I only had 1 account ever, and that's this one.

So I found out why that button 'play now' is there in the store, my PS3 was on with steam connected in portal 2. That's why that button is there. It seems I never redeemed that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ paper code in my steam for PC. really, PUT THE CODE ON THE BOOK INSIDE THE BOX. why a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ paper that gets lost so damn easy. You silly valve.

I would say contact Steam through support but a lot of people say they get no responce. Sorry, I don't know what to tell you.
