Companion Cube

We all know how tragic and emotionally scarring it was to kill our best friend in the entire game, Companion Cube, in the first Portal. We thought s/he was dead until the end of Portal 2, whcih left us in the middle of a wheat field with our old friend, Companion Cube. But here's the main question.
In Portal 2, there is a new Companion Cube. This one has a pink circle around the heart that lights up when you place it on a button. My question is this: Which Companion Cube do you like better? The original, or the new?
Pointless question, but still. Answer if you feel it.
