What does it mean "be buged" ? He has no errors with the game.

Me and several different friends had the same problem. Sometimes it started to work again after we both restarted Portal.

Some Isp dont like certian type of connections so they dc them indirectly. Or it could be the connections with steam too.

In cmd:
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset reset.log

Which reset winsock and TCP/IP.
Strange as other peoples accounts worked on my machine, but it is fixed now, I'm not complaining!

You have to try a couple times, wait 'till it works etc. I haven't find any other fix ;d

I had this issue with a friend of mine who'd not played Co-Op before, but had been on my friends list at the time he was going to play Co-Op for the first time. When we invited each other, we'd be disconnected. If I'd invite him, it'd show that my screen was loading (reaching to the point where it'd show ATLAS/P-Body schematics) before saying that my partner disconnected; while on his side, it'd show the loading screen for a regular map, but only reach to two circles before hanging and disconnecting; and vice versa for the other person.

I tried connecting with a random user, and they load just fine. At one point, I'd connected to a user, but right before going into the Hub, I accepted the invite, to which it said that the game for their server had already ended, or something similar to that.

It's most likely the friend's computer, not mine or yours.

Not trying to take over; just wanted to provide any extra info in regards to connection issues in case Valve ever miraculously tries to fix it. p:
