CanNOT get bonus map packs to work

Hey guys, this technically belongs in the Portal 1 forums and it's there too, but they're way less active.

I just can't get my map packs to work-the rexaura pack by mevious and the Portal Flash Game map pack. I just can't get them to work. According to the readme it says I need to own Half-Life 2, but I've heard from other places that this isn't strictly necessary, though it will have some effects on the game. Whatever. I just want to load the maps.

I've put them all in the portal maps folder in steamapps, and I can even find the folders for the maps in the bonus maps menu. Just not the maps themselves.

They have different installation instructions. I don't know why TFV Map Pack isn't working for you (maybe you need to start the first map from the console?), but Rexaura is installed differently.

2. Restart Steam if it was running.
3. Open your Steam games library and select Rexaura.

You shouldn't need Half-Life 2 to play Rexaura, I don't know about TFV Map Pack though.

So, my update: No change. Are you saying that Rexaura should be a separate game in my library?

Portal says the games need to be in bmz format. Mine are in bsp, and I have no clue how to change that.
