Portal 2 Co-op question

If i have portal 2 and my brother has portal 2 can we both player 2gether on different computers? or would i only be able to play with him if one of us is mouse+keyboard and the other is controller?

Btw how do you play with a ps2 controller (i dont have the usb ones), the back end of the cord for the ps2 isn't a part on the computer, would i have 2 buy a usb one or a new controller?

I don't know about the ps2 controller bit. Anyway, yes you both would be able to play portal 2 co-op together on different computers.

As for the PS2 controller thing, yeah I bought one with the special usb thingy but it doesn't work as well as I expected so there's THAT.
