i liked the plot of 2 better but i miss the fact that you could throw objects in portal but not in 2

Portal 2, because of the increased number of characters, the co-op mode, and the co-op DLC.

PORTAL is new and inovative and it gives you a break from all other games, that don't leave (almost) anything in gaming history. Then, PORTAL 2 comes with: 1.unique gameplay (the story makes it a not only puzzle game); 2.great coop; 3.awsome characters and voice actors; 4.great music; 5.many surprises and funny moments; 6.the best ending ever!; 7.incredibly good (and free) DLCs and overall, it's not so hard to play. So portal 2 is not only the best puzzle game ever, but to me it's also the best game ever made!

Well, i loved both games equally, but there was some thing i didn't like about The first game. IT was way to short, they both had great twisting plotlines, but seriously, really short. The second game was 2x as long as the first. And if you include the Multiplayer campaign as well as the single player one, it's 4x as long. If i had to choose one of the two, i would chouse Portal 2
