"Portal vs. Portal 2" Poll

Portal 2 was longer, explained more, and had more work put into it. I loved both games, but Portal 2 is obviously better.

Portal. I never finish Portal 2 though. Didn't have the motivation to finish it so I only play half the levels.

Suprisingly no. I'm the most childish adult, everyone around me knows. But seriously. There was very little to laugh at in the sequel, or even smile. It had good drama, but humor. Nope.

umm, honestly, you must have no sense of humor whatsoever. portal 2 is probably THE FUNNIEST game i have EVER played. and most of the games i play are aimed twards humor. portal 1 however was more of the action than humor. it was fast paced, and required lot of thinking. i respect your opinion but strongly disagree. i agree with 427 on this one, dude.
also, to answer the original question, portal one is the classic, but portal 2 is better in the sense that there was a better plot, more than just 2 characters, and better "levels" than portal.

Portal had way more cool-looking chambers than Portal 2, but Portal 2 comes with more elements, more levels, a real plot, and a full fledged workshop, so I'll have to say Portal 2.

"more cool looking chambers"????? Portal 1's chambers, while fascinating, all look exactly the same. Portal 2 had over 4 different areas, each one looking completely different and each chamber being unique in some way. I really don't know where you got that from.
