confusing crashes in portal 2
i installed portal 2 long time ago.nothing went wrong that time but my computer didnt worked good so my dad got me new computer and i installed portal2 on that,nothing went wrong.but after 3 monthes i installed teamfortress 2,nothing went wrong.so i play portal 2 only few times,then the next time i started the game the all the logo comes and the game starts to load,the game instantly it crashes.i have many custom made testchambers in that game and may achivements,so please tell me if anyone have a solution!

P.S. i have reinstalled the game and it is fine now!but i will leave this disscusion here so anyone can fing a solution.

If the custom chambers were downloaded, it's a possibility one of them screwed the game up. Otherwise try reinstalling.

Since the latest update (a couple a weeks ago) I have been having this problem. It is easily fixed by validating your local files, but be prepared to do this before each time you play. Robot enrichment was also affected, it cannot connect to steam now and there is no fix as of yet.

Yeah I just ran into the same problem as well... I tried to play it after a long time and it worked smoothly without any problems - And then it crashed! :/

Right click on portal 2, and go to properties. Go to the Local Files tab, and click Verify the Integrity of Game Cache. Then give it a try when that is done. Let us know if that works for you.

i think its cosmogony because it is the latest chamber downloaded!
