[Linux] Portal 2 Beta lighting bug
The lighting (or textures?) for maps in my installation of Portal 2 Beta won't load/work, I'm opted in to the beta, obviously, since I can load the game. All of the menus work and there are no crashes. Previews for levels are black boxes.

Cache is verified, graphics drivers are updated.
I have a U52F with Intel Graphics (i5 M460).
Linux Mint 16 (64-bit) in LXDE, I don't have issues running Portal (1).

It is probably a Mesa driver bug, if you have the latest version. With some luck it could be worked around by changing (reducing) the video settings.

I did attempt to change video settings to see if it would somehow force the game to render correctly but no luck.
I'm building a new computer soon anyways. Hopefully nVidia drivers are less bad on Linux than Intel's.

I have a similar problem, Linux Mint 17 64-bit, however I cannot see anything of the game itself aside from crosshairs and any floating text, for example "look up" in the first level. Menus operate just fine, although game screenshots within the menus are black boxes.
