INSTANT CRASHES! !PLEASE HELP!

Hello...whoever you are who reads this, anyway, I need help, so far my Portal 2 has been doing NOTHING but crashing whenever I load up a campaign story, not even a minute ago, I just opened it up, clicked "New Game" chose the story "The Return" and before the little loading progression dots at the bottom right even got to three of them, it stops, sits there for a good 1-3 seconds, then literally shuts down without a single error in sight...and this has been happening for more than 2 months, I think it has started back about in...September 2013...yeah...I havn't pressed play sence! PLEASE HELP!

I know a guy who had the same problem, there was a problem with his computer but when he switched computer so it worked, otherwise you may report to VALVE.[MADE WHIT GOOGLE TRANSLATE NOT PERFECT]

I tried playing it a few hours ago and it kept crashing on the loading screen. I tried verifying the files but it never started, then I tried the old steam://flushconfig trick and it didn't help.
So I just hit the delete local content so I wouldn't be frustrated with it anymore.
