I cant launch the game

Every time i try to launch the game it goes through the whole loading process and then it just closes the game entirely. I know its not my system because it worked fine for at least 2 months after i bought it. I either need a way to fix it or a refund of some kind because its quite annoying not being able to play a game that you bought with your own hard earned cash.

Have you tried to verify the game cache? It often fix some random problems.

1. Right Click Portal 2 from list and click Properties
2. Go to the Local Files tab
3. Click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"
4. Wait until it's done...

I did this, and now the game shows me "NO STEAM" when launches and doesn't work...any idea? Thanx!
