Portal 2 for Linux.

When is it availeble on Steam cause i have seen video's from it on the internet.
and i really want it for my Ubuntu system.

Portal 2 for Linux is already available, it is just beta. Once you opt-in to the beta version, you should be able to play the game on Linux.

How do you opt in? I bought it today and installed it but it will not launch.

right click portal 2 in library, click properties, click beta tab in new window, select beta from drop-down, close properties window, download beta update... enjoy fabulous native linux version of one of the greatest games of all time!!

I don't know if this is where I should report a problem but it just crashed. I was playing and everything was fine. I was on the forth puzzle and suddenly it just quit without any reason.

Same issue here.. There is no "beta" tab when you right click portal 2 in library, then click properties??
