Linux Beta, unable to find an interpreter
Trying to run Portal 2 on Debian Sid. After futsing with the startup script I've gotten stuck at...

run-detectors: unable to find an interpreter for ./portal2.exe

I am assuming that this would be something similar to wine, but I'm a bit new with how Valve generally deals with running ported games under Linux. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

From GitHub[github.com]:

Important: To play Portal 2 on Linux you must opt-in to the beta. You may do this by right-clicking on Portal 2 (Beta) in Steam, clicking Properties -> Betas and then select 'beta' from the drop-down. If you do not do this, Portal 2 will not run on Linux.

Ah thank you! I thought I had selected to opt into the beta but it was switched off when I looked it up.
