Random Chaos Director for Portal 2
Beating Portal 2 is an exciting experience you'll never forget. Playing it again though will bore you to tears. Once you know how to beat a puzzle, you're done. Now thankfully community maps have saved the day on an otherwise great idea for a game but unfortunately once you beat a map, it's a chore to play it again and most people won't.

So a new "OPTIONAL" gamemode.

Portal 2 is surviving on new content and new players but it can be better! It would be awesome if some kind of mobile threat (e.g., robots, droids, zombie test subjects, zombie robots) came at you and tried incapascitating a player (forcing teamwork, like L4D). Your only weapon is a portal gun and your wits and the smarts of your team. Like L4D's Director, it would be nice to randomly apply enemies and events at the will of chaos.

Of course this would introduce a ton of new code, new gameplay mechanics, etc but damn I've played hundreds of great maps I'd like to relive again but that's just not going to happen when you know the answer. The experience doesn't change. I want to play something that'll make me unknow the answer, something that'll change the answer, something that's relatively familiar and yet brand new.

Portal 2 needs some kind of Random Chaos Director for a whole new game mode that can breath life back into those old but great maps. It should be optional of course.
