New Greek Mythology Reference (anyone else got anything?)

So I came across another steam thread at http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1856538 , and I found another reference to greek mythology. In the first real Rat Den (image at http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/0/5370/1795683-rattmann_03.jpg) the entire picture is a reference to the story of Artimes and Typhon. What I'm wondering is is there anything that isn't mentioned here (either from this thread or the one linked above)? Just want to unravel more of the mystery of this game.
