Surround/Eyefinity crosshair bug is back?
I know there are already dozens of threads on this topic, but none posted recently...

This bug was fixed at one time, but now it's back????

Has anyone come up with a viable solution? (if someone suggests Console: "Crosshair 1" I will simply react with a heavy sigh, as we all know by now this does not work for this multi-montor glitch)

I tried the various Autohotkey scripts, but I either get a position error, or the solution absolutely kills my framerate (and the fact that I am using surround should indicate that Portal 2 framerates on my system are otherwise never a concern - even with visuals maxed)

Plus, the Portal reticle includes the orange/blue indicators that a simple centre of screen crosshair does not provide. (but hell, I'd be happy with a simple dot at this point)

I have just discovered the workshop, and the thousands of Portal 2 maps available and am more than slightly annoyed that a known glitch has reared it's ugly head once again, with no fix.

I'd expect this from a thrid party developer, but Portal 2 is Valve, and if they can't fix a very well know glitch in their own software (with a modicum of alacrity) with the power and speed of Steam updates at their disposal, shouldn't they be more than slightly embarrassed?

If someone could PLEASE help with this. I know Portal 2 is getting pretty old now (making this problem even more unacceptable), but shouldn't being the most popular game in the Steam Workshop give the devs more incentive to fix a problem that is surely (in an age of $199 monitors, and Sub $600 GPU's) effecting a large percentage of PC gamers?

At the very least could someone advise what the update that broke this again, and explain how I might revert to that version. Also, would reverting to a post-bug/pre-bug period build effect using maps from the workshop?
