Black Screen

So i bought Portal 2 and I played single player for a little while and saved my game. Then I played some of the levels other players made. And then next day I get on to play more and everything was working fine but when the game is done loading my save the screen blacks out. It does this every time I try to play a level. Also during the black screen it's like someone is talking but it just glitches out so it's just the same word being repeated over and over.
PS: I have already tried reinstalling the game.

I have the same problem where were you stuck maybe it was where you saved it happened to me near when you get the first gel

Same happened to me and I saved in the same place. :(

I found that reverting to an earlier save works (uselly 1-2 saves back will work)

I would, but I had only the one save. I was in a rush, got past the first cut scene, saved, and left. Thank you though.
