I can't start portal 2
Ever since I bought the game from the steam summer sale I have not been able to start the game. Whenever I try to play it, I get the preparing to launch portal 2 message and nothing happens. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, verify appcache, and deleting the folders, and still no luck. I really want to play this game, but I don't know what else to do.

get a new computer cuz that happend to me and i got a new computer. Or Just try Re-Booting the computer

No point of buying new computer.
Go to steam (top left corner) / options / account / and change the "Beta tests" thing to "Steam beta update" or just disable it. Small update is going to be installed, i have no idea what it does, but it helps me sometimes!
