Should Cheats Be Removed?
I think that if they are put in the game then that they should stay there.

should people be allowed to cheat? in single player, sure. if people want to cheat then it only effects themselves. besides, cheat codes have other uses besides blitzing through a game. sometimes there's some that do funny and silly stuff, noclip can be used for exploring hidden things or just to satisfy curiosity (or to get out of bugged areas), to make screenshots (if you're trying to get that perfect picture without having to concentrate on staying alive at the same time) or just to skip sections you've played a thousand times already. besides, even if developers don't put cheat codes in, people will only use third party trainers if they're really set on cheating
in competitive multiplayer cheats should of course be disabled. in co-operative they should only be enabled if all participants agree to it

I've played co-op with someone who uses cheats and it is incredibly annoying.

I've used cheats a few times in co-op but never to annoy others. I even was forced to turn them off once because my "partner" was abusing them. Cheats should stay but they must be used responsibly. If anything, add a toggle that disable sv_cheats during co-op. If option is enabled, it blocks the use of sv_cheats command.

Cheats are good for testing your custom maps quickly
