i cant play the game (help?)

every other game works fine
what happend is i clicked the play button onv steam and play portal 2, problem is all it does it display an error message saying...

LAUNCHER ERROR
"Failed to load the launcher DLL:

The specific module could not be found."

and then there was an "OK" button that just closes the window.
when i try to uninstalll and reinstall the game it takes no time and instantly does it and when i play the game the problem persists.

if you know how to fix this please tell me!
