Low-mid skilled pilot, looking for someone to bounce my silly questions off :D
Hi there,
Very competent at all training tutorials, completed my first mission there, I've been going YT tutorial mad, devouring the manual and I'm hungry for more.
Loving this game, loving the detail, though I could use someone who is more familiar with the game to bounce a question or two off every now and then until I feel competent enough to fly multiplayer.

The reward? Helping a brotha out. And hell, I might just make a good wingman yet :D

Though am afraid that I'll start jamming up the forum with questions like this:
(It's a quickie, I promise!)
The way I've learned to mark the primary objective, is to dial to mission, and create a new waypoint given the co-ords in the mission breif on the WP page of the CDU.
Eg. 41-58-47N / 041-59-0E
This is fine, no problem at all, but after completing that mission, the next one's co-ords are:

42-4-38N / 041-5452E

The easting is fine, but the northing seems odd I think.
I type the northing in to the CDU like so: "42438" and there is absolutely nothing there, and same for "424038."

I think I'm not formatting the second didgit correctly or something.
This is the mission in georgian hammer, where you've to take out rear echelon BMP-2's.
Thoughts?

I never tried that mission, actually. What happens if you enter 42-04-38N or 42-40-38N instead of the original 42-4-38N?
The string you provided looks strange to me and the avionics computer can't tell what's correct, but only follows its logic and reads it as 42-43-80N (I guess), which is somewhere different altogether.
