SWDF2 Players: How do you feel about the new Battlefront(Battlefront 3 Technically)?

I'm not hyped for it. Also it's not Battlefront 3. It's just a remake that is going to be with DLC and a progression system.

It's a lot worse, than "just a remake": no spacebattles, no Republic and Droids, and huge selection of 4 planets.

Basically, the only "good" stuff - graphics and DLC with some connections with Episode VII.

The sad part is that people actually cheered when Dice said that the Battle of Jakku will will be free to all those who have the game before Dec 8th. If they somehow negate the game from being modded, it will truely be the death of Ground Wars: Battlefront.

ya i knew not to get my hopes up, that Battlefront 3 Alpha looked pimp as ♥♥♥♥ for 2007 (i think it was) but this 2015 DICE version looks like a cheap buck....least Pandemic Studios had the right idea of what fans wanted, BF3 has everything...the campaign looked amazing....and whats DICE's counter to that awesome campaign from Pandemic...NONE...lets make no story at all....♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupidest business decision ever...now the no space battles I dont mind too bad...it was kinda confusing trying to get your barrings and ♥♥♥♥....but no campaign just killed this game for me. RIP Battlefront Series :'(

doubtful, all companies seem to shut down that kinda ♥♥♥♥ didn't a Mario 64 fan based reboot get shut down recently ...its stupid ♥♥♥♥ like that, that pisses me off. "Oh this fan of our series made a betetr game than we did AND hes giving it away for free!? Shut him down so people will buy our crappy games instead! HAHAHA!"

Eh, but that's Nintendo, they strive for quality, and don't want to see some fan iteration bring down that quality. I highly doubt EA, some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ distribution company, is going to do anything. Has EA even done that to any other modding project before? Something to be researched.

NO SPACEBATTLES?!? i can deal with not having the clone wars but no space battles? come on DICE star wars battlefront elite squadron did that and it was on PSP

galatic conquest was one of my favorite things about battlefront 2, it'd be cool if they could at least do it in multiplayer...clan vs clan maybe?

I was looking forward to it but now I feel hesitant. I can't get over the lack of Clone Wars era and space battles. I also dislike how they have so few planets.

I also hate the comments on Facebook. Those people are why DLC-whoring is so common these days. Also the "I never did space battles anyway" or "prequels suck" people, like they're the only people who played the friggin' game.
