A problematic trend I see with custom maps
I've played a lot of custom maps and I am seeing a pattern that really makes the map not nearly as fun as it would seem. Too much of the map is open space and the AI will naturally overwhelm the player, because they will target the player out of the entire crowd, completely surrounding him or her, and remove your team's only advantage (yourself). The CP's placement is also problematic because they typically are just sitting in the wide open as well. This would seem merely redundant to my other problem, except that I would add that it doesn't seem reasonable that someone in a battle would set up camp in the middle of everyone's crosshairs. The CPs need to be in confined and defensible places or it makes little sense why they are called Command Posts.

This critique also applies to official maps, mainly the bad ones (we are looking at you dagobah and felucia).
